Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us at contact@gp2health.co.uk if you cannot find the answer to your question.

This sometimes happens. Rest assured, the labs we use will automatically inform GP2Health of the abnormal result urgently with a personal message. We then pass this result onto you immediately with advice on what to do next. There is no charge to you for emergency advice given.

You can visit us in person or contact us by phone, message or email.

If you would like to access any of GP2Health services, you will need to register with our practice. This is done using the secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) named Semble. We will email you or help you to complete a registration form in person. In this registration form, we will collect some of your personal information, including demographics, habits, medicines, and comorbidities. Please see our policies and regulations section to understand how we use your data.

This is a good point. Any genetic testing should not be entered into without thought. You can discuss with your GP whether this is a good idea.

Our lab partners (Randox) also offer a free pre-blood test and post-result counselling service with a genetics specialist. More specific advice will be given regarding the results. Your GP can sit in on this consultation if you wish. This is charged at half the usual consulting rate.

Sadly not. If you are at increased risk of exposure to HIV or have possibly been exposed to HIV within the last 72 hours, please visit a local sexual health clinic. Beyond this, we will offer a full sexual health screen.

These results may be inaccurate if taken too soon after a sexual encounter. Generally, they are most accurate around 6-12 weeks after the sexual encounter, but some tests may detect early infection. Repeat testing may be needed, and depends upon the type of sexual encounter and the interval between sexual encounter and testing.

The number of tests and combinations is limitless, and therefore prices have not been included. A bespoke or tailored price will be provided upon request or decided during consultation.
