Health Function Tests

Giving clear, objective information about how your body is functioning, helping to detect issues early and guide the right treatment.

Functional Testing

Physiological tests provide clear, objective insights into how different parts of your body are functioning, helping to identify issues that may not be obvious from symptoms alone. By detecting problems early and guiding tailored treatment, they support better long-term health and more confident decision-making about your care.

We offer these tests alone or as suggested and tailored health screening options for men and women

Spirometry - £150

Spirometry - £150

Spirometry is a common lung function test used to measure how well your lungs work by assessing the amount (volume) of air you inhale and exhale, as well as how quickly you can expel air from your lungs. It is often used to diagnose and monitor lung conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory disorders.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) - £75

Electrocardiogram (ECG) - £75

An Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that records the electrical activity inside the heart over time. It is used to detect heart problems and monitor heart health. The ECG traces the heart’s rhythm and electrical impulses as waves on a graph, helping us identify irregularities in the heart's function.

Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) - £125

Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) - £125

The Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) is a non-invasive test used to assess peripheral arterial disease (PAD), which affects blood flow to the limbs. The test compares the blood pressure in the ankle with the blood pressure in the arm (brachial artery). The ratio of these two measurements provides the ABPI.

Home Blood Pressure Monitoring (HBPM) - £100

Home Blood Pressure Monitoring (HBPM) - £100

Home (HBPM) and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) are methods used to measure blood pressure continuously over a 24-hour period while a person goes about their normal daily activities. You will be given a device from GP2Health to wear or use. These techniques provide a more accurate picture of a person's blood pressure compared to readings taken in a clinical setting.

Sleep Studies - £250

Sleep Studies - £250

Sleep studies are essential tests that monitor breathing, heart rate, oxygen levels, and body movements during sleep. They help diagnose a range of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, insomnia, and parasomnias such as night terrors. By identifying what disrupts your sleep, these studies provide a clear path toward targeted treatment and better rest. Whether you’re constantly tired, snore loudly, or struggle to stay asleep, a sleep study can uncover the cause and guide you to improved sleep quality and overall health. Sleep well—your body and mind depend on it.
